Long Lost Updates
For anyone who is actually still checks this blog - Hi!
Our lives have been extremely busy recently. Not that anyone who updates their blogs are not busy, but you definitely are more disciplined than we are.

We are writing to give you a basic update of our lives. Although the majority of you probably already know, either from talking to us face to face or through facebook. But for some of you who may not know . . . .

Derick is still working hard with the youth group as well as working a full time job. Sarah is learning to be a good wife and be the helper to Derick that God wants her to be. It is amazing to see the Lord give us the strength we need to do everything He has called us to do. Not that we get to do everything we want, but then again God never says He will supply all we want, but we definitely have seen Him supply all our needs.

Recently we have had the opportunity to see this first hand. We have been trying to sell our home for almost a year now. We really feel that we need a bigger home for our ministry and family. However, the Lord has not seen fit to supply that right now. So, all we can say is that we must not need it. But we are still praying. We have our house on the market for now and are waiting on the Lord.

We also had the opportunity to learn about God's grace this weekend. Derick went to a Conference at 10th Presbyterian Church in Center City Philadelphia, along with a few other men from our church. The conference revolved around the blood of Christ. It was a amazing, but I will let Derick tell you more about that.

Sarah was able to go to a Women's Retreat -
It was a good time of fellowship with the ladies in our church. Especially being able to spend some time with my mom. I enjoy interacting with the older women in the church. I love seeing their love for God and watching their example of godliness. Also the conference topics and themes seemed handpicked just for me. The Lord seemed to be addressing the heart issues that I have been struggling with these past few months. Especially in the area of contentment.

Well, pray for us. Pray that we would be doers of the word - especially focusing on the things the Lord taught us this weekend. But also pray for us as we continue to love the teens the Lord has given us. We are starting to get ready for the Summer. We have many activities coming up and want to be lost in Christ's love and gospel as we serve and not be caught up in the activities themselves.

Below are some updated pictures of our neice. I hope to get on here some updated pics of us too.
